LEWISBURG, Tenn., April 11, 2008 –International Comfort Products, LLC (ICP) now offers AdVantageSM local advertising solutions, a new easy-to-use, Web-based tool to help heating and cooling contractors win more customers, earn more referrals and keep more customers.

The AdVantage system is a proprietary system designed specifically for dealers and contractors who sell Heil®, Tempstar®, Comfortmaker®, Arcoaire®, KeepRite® and Day & NightTM brand products.

“Independent consumer research underscores the importance of customer contact in helping a contractor build a customer base and grow profitability,” said Phil Kelly, ICP marketing support manager. “By sending postcards with special offers to customers and prospects, dealers and contractors can build customer trust, improve customer satisfaction, and generate increased sales and referrals. The AdVantage system makes it easy to do just that—without leaving your office.”

Available exclusively from ICP, the AdVantage system is an easy-to-use online program to help dealers and contractors create and mail high-quality, custom postcards. The system is designed to minimize the time needed to:

Send thank-you cards. With only a few clicks, contractors can design thank-you cards to send to customers. The AdVantage system prints the cards and mails them.

Schedule maintenance reminders. The contractor chooses how often to send maintenance reminders and designs a postcard with a special offer. The AdVantage system prints and mails the cards.

Send prospecting cards. Contractors can design prospecting postcards with special offers for reduced prices on routine maintenance. The AdVantage system will identify targeted prospects near current customers and mail the postcards for the contractor.

ICP designed the AdVantage system in cooperation with distributors, dealers and contractors. Test dealers used the system to design, print and mail more than 11,000 postcards in a pilot of the system last summer. Kelly said the AdVantage system does not require advanced computer experience to create, print and mail custom postcards.  

“This new, quick, easy and cost-effective tool can bring you a new level of customer contact to make your phone ring and help you grow your business,” Kelly said. “In very little time, dealers can create and schedule the postcard mailings. The AdVantage system does most of the work. It prints the cards, addresses them, adds postage and mails them — all at a surprisingly reasonable cost. A dealer can send a postcard to thank a recent customer and a prospecting card to 25 of his neighbors for less than $30.”

He said the AdVantage system helps contractors stake their claims in targeted neighborhoods.
