Announces ‘Supersize Warranty’ Special Promotion:
(LEWISBURG, Tenn., April 3, 2008) – This spring, look for International Comfort Products’ (ICP) most robust consumer promotion ever — the “Supersize Warranty” offer! This remarkable offer adds up to five extra years of coverage at no additional cost, and is available on ICP brands of heating and cooling equipment, including Heil®, Tempstar®, Comfortmaker®, Arcoaire®, KeepRite® and Day & Night™. According to Lisa Townley, ICP director of marketing, “This promotion is in addition to ICP’s existing strong warranty support. The ‘Supersize Warranty’ special features a sixth through 10th year parts promotional limited warranty, available during the spring and summer seasons to help boost dealer’s sales.” Townley added, “Since we launched our improved warranty coverage in 2006, dealers have praised our good-better-best approach on our No Hassle ReplacementTM limited warranties. Research shows that four out of five homeowners prefer products with strong warranties over a well-known brand, and homeowners like a replacement option. And, our dealers asked us to provide homeowners a better warranty as an additional incentive to purchasing higher-end products. The resulting ICP product warranties offer dealers a unique opportunity to give homeowners excellent coverage and provide the dealer with help on selling up. It’s a win, win for dealers and homeowners. ICP is raising the bar again with its Supersize Warranty promotion. The Supersize Warranty requirements are easy and require little paperwork. “This promotion gives dealers a powerful selling tool that enables them to offer up to an additional five years of parts limited warranty coverage through the heart of this year’s cooling season,” said Townley. The promotion is limited to the original, registered purchaser and qualifying products purchased between March 1, 2008, and August 31, 2008, inclusive. Product must be registered within 90 days after purchase. Registration is not required where prohibited by law. Promotional parts limited warranty coverage is for the sixth (or eighth, depending on model) through the 10th year on the same terms and conditions as the standard factory warranty.
