LEWISBURG, Tenn., April 29, 2008 – The Tempstar^® product line from International Comfort Products, LLC (ICP) includes 25-ton PGE300 package gas/electrics with up to 9.5 EER efficiency.

This two-stage rooftop unit uses R-22 refrigerant with multiple hermetic-type scroll compressors. The ASHRAE 90.1-compliant unit features independent cooling circuits to provide part-load cooling operation. It achieves 277 MBtuh ARI cooling capacity ratings. Other benefits include:

· Easy servicing: Easily removable panels provide ready access to unit components for rapid removal or maintenance. Units feature through-the-base utility connections capability and integrated gas control board with diagnostics. PGE300 gas/electrics are pre-wired for economizers. Fully modulating economizers are available for use in downflow or horizontal return air configurations.

· Reliability: Refrigerant filter dryers are standard to help keep the refrigerant system free of contaminants and meet tough commercial specifications. Freeze-protection thermostats on each refrigerant circuit protect against coil frosting at low load operation. High and low pressure controls provide system protection for extreme cooling operating conditions.

· Noise-reduced performance: Quiet and efficient operation is provided by belt driven evaporator fans.

· Premium warranties: The PGE300 gas/electric includes a five-year limited warranty on heat exchangers, a five-year limited warranty on compressors and a one-year limited warranty on other parts.
